New Hampshire’s Dyslexia Law: NH RSA 200:58

At Bethlehem Elementary School we screen all students three times each school year to determine individual academic needs as well as individual progress. In kindergarten and first grade we do additional screenings that would indicate whether a child might be impacted by dyslexia. If it is determined that a child is affected by dyslexia, additional support may be provided by a highly qualified teacher through the RtI process, or a child may be referred for special education testing. We strive to identify any reading struggles early in a child’s school career and work to remedy them immediately. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Greenlaw at Bethlehem Elementary School.
