Tammy Sanborn serves as the school counselor at Bethlehem Elementary School, supporting students from Pre-K through 6th grade. With a Master’s degree in School Counseling and extensive training in brain trauma, trauma intervention, crisis management, and child and family support systems, she plays a vital role in fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging school environment.
Dedicated to enhancing student growth and development, Tammy works closely with students, families, and staff to provide comprehensive support that encourages self-esteem, self-sufficiency, and student engagement in learning. Through an age-appropriate curriculum, she helps children develop essential skills that prepare them for the transition to middle and high school, ensuring they build a strong foundation for future success. Tammy’s work focuses on creating a safe and nurturing space where students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. She actively collaborates with teachers and staff to support the school milieu, always striving to enhance student services and implement effective strategies for student well-being. Committed to lifelong learning, she continuously seeks new and innovative ways to strengthen her understanding of child development, intervention techniques, and family support systems. Passionate about family, community, and service, Tammy is dedicated to providing the most effective and compassionate support to the children and families of Bethlehem Elementary School. |
