​Matt grew up in Vermont and has lived in Bethlehem for the past 12 years. This is his thirteenth year teaching third grade at BES which he loves! Matt is passionate about project-based learning and authentic learning opportunities for his students. Outside of teaching, he enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball. When he's not working with children, he loves spending time with his own children, playing basketball and chess, and working with his hands on projects around the house.
