Bryan Smith
With over two decades of experience in education, Bryan is committed to fostering a school community where students and staff feel supported, inspired, and eager to learn. He strives to create an inclusive environment that nurtures curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and promotes meaningful, real-world connections. His goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to explore their passions and develop confidence in their abilities. Bryan has lived in the North Country for over 25 years, following a career in law enforcement and service in the Marine Corps. He values the region’s natural beauty and enjoys the outdoor activities it offers. Whether connecting with nature or working with students and staff, he finds fulfillment in learning, collaboration, and supporting others. He earned his B.S. from Charter Oak State College and his MSEd in Education from Walden University in 2019. He was honored to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, a recognition that reflects the dedication of the students, families, and colleagues he has had the privilege to work alongside at BES.
